Orkut official blog announced "We recently began rolling out 12 themes to a percentage of our Indian users, and these themes should be available to all Indian users by the end of this week. We're currently testing this new feature, and if we hear that users like it, we plan to roll it out for everyone on orkut and continue offering more new themes.
How do you switch your theme? Click on the "change theme" link in the top navigation bar or go to the"themes" tab in the edit profile page. You'll then see our gallery page, where you can check out all the themes that are currently available. Alternatively, if you visit a friend's profile page and he has a theme you like, click on "get this theme." When you select a theme, all your orkut pages will have this theme: your profile, scrapbook, photos, videos, etc. When other users visit your profile or other pages, they will see your selected theme."

Google Sites as part of Google Apps for companies and organizations that wanted to use the service on their own domains. Now Google have made it easy for anyone to set up a website to share all types of information -- team projects, company intranets, community groups, classrooms, clubs, family updates, you name it -- in one place, for a few people, a group or the world.
The sites are available at: http://sites.google.com/site/SITENAME and there doesn't seem to be a limit for the number of sites you can create. You can create as many web pages as you like, but each site has a storage quota of only 100 MB.
http://sites.google.com/site/dotcom-seo/ this is Dotcom-seo blog's Google site.
Also I created like this URL "Goooooogle" http://sites.google.com/site/goooooogle/ but no use.
Google Sites offered no SEO benefits. because all external links include rel=nofollow

Please stop reading this post and visit Google Sites immediately. because if you are late, someone else may grab your favorite URL(s). like me ...
Today, I noticed a small changes on Google Homepage. Google has a new favicon. yes, see this image. small 'g' symbol replaced to old 'G'
A favicon is a small image that is generally used to reflect the identity of a web site. You can find it in the address bar, in your browser's tabs.

so that, we are getting like this loading page,

'Hello' was an instant messenger-like desktop photo sharing application that made it easy to send photos to friends via an encrypted connection. The Hello.com web page has been replaced by a shut down notice and the service will cease to work on May 15th.
"We originally embarked on a mission to make photo sharing easier and more fun with Hello. We plan to keep carrying that torch in new projects to come." wrote the Hello team on their now defunct web site. Hello team encourages users to use Picasa, Picasa Web Albums, and Google Talk.
What will Google do with this cool domain (hello.com)?
I think not for sale
Google Adsense team are testing the ads with new fonts. now they are testing with these fonts,

Google Talk chatback badge
Google launched new Google Talk feature at February that lets visitors to your web site chat with you. That is "chatback" because instead of you doing all the talking on your blog, your visitors can talk back to you. Sure, they could leave comments, but those are public and hard to use for a real conversation. With chatback, it's a real instant message session.
I am also integrate that facility in Dotcom-SEO blog. if you want chat with me Gtalk feature in this blog sidebar.
Now Google update the Google Talk chatback badges in several new styles. These options are available by clicking on the “Styles” drop down menu when creating a chatback badge.
To create a Google Talk badge, visit
http://www.google.com/talk/service/badge/New
If you are a Google Apps user, visit
http://www.google.com/talk/service/a/DOMAIN/badge/New
replacing DOMAIN with the name of your domain.
Google Analytics for Blogger - Nice thing.
Google official message -
http://analytics.blogspot.com/2008/04/google-analytics-for-blogger-now-in.html
"Several weeks back at South by Southwest, Jeff Veen announced our new Google Analytics for Blogger reporting interface. Currently available only in private beta, this product is a collaboration of several teams and marks the transition of Measure Map customers to a new Google Analytics interface designed specifically for Blogger users.
Here's what Jeff had to say:
"Many of you may remember when Google acquired Measure Map, our analytics product for blogs. When we came to Google, our first job was to take the experience of providing clear, accessible reports, coupled with powerful tools for analysis, and apply it to Google's already robust Analytics product. The result of that collaboration launched last May, in the redesigned Google Analytics interface.
Since then the team has been hard at work fulfilling our original promise: to help bloggers understand the impact that their blogs are having on the world. To that end, we've rebuilt Measure Map as an integrated feature of both Google Analytics and Blogger. We hope you like what you see."
Though we usually don't widely announce private-beta programs, we are migrating all existing Measure Map users (which include many prominent bloggers) to this new interface. With all the excitement around it, we knew we couldn't keep it a secret, so we decided to let the cat out of the bag early.
However, please keep in mind that this is an early beta; as such, we expect changes and hiccups along the way. We'll be refining the new interface throughout the year before we release it to the general public as an optional reporting interface in both Blogger and Google Analytics accounts. In the meantime, you can always use Google Analytics to track your blog."
Google added a new search feature - Domain information 'Onebox'. You can now type into Google, whois domain.com and get the whois information for that domain.
Enter e.g. whois google.com to find a special link referring you to domain info from domaintools.com
When you click on the whois link, you are taken to Domain Tools. Domain Tools is one of the most widely used whois databases out there. May be it was a formal partnership with Google and Domaintools. Anyway I like nice Google feature.

Google's personalized homepage - iGoogle, offers two options to backup your gadgets and feeds at the bottom of the settings page.
Two options is there,
that's look like this,
Backup the iGoogle page on Google's servers - it's useful to backup your page before adding gadgets that might create problems.
Import XML file that includes all the tabs, layouts and themes, the feeds, gadgets and their settings. The XML file can be imported in any iGoogle page, so this is a good way to migrate the page to a different Google account.
